You will visit Meiji Jingu Shinto shrine followed by the hip neighbourhood of Harajuku and the trendy high fashion district of Omotesando. You will head to Nakameguro where the blooming cherry trees along both sides of the river form an instagram worthy tunnel of pink. Your next stop is Shinjuku Gyoen, a popular large park, for Ohanami (picnic). You continue exploring Shinjuku and then head back to your hotel.

Today you will head out with your guide by public transportation for a day trip to Hakone about 80 kilometres south west of Tokyo. Hakone is known for its famous hotspring resorts and views of iconic Mount Fuji.

Say goodbye to Tokyo and board the shinkansen (bullet train) to Nagoya, where you will connect to the scenic Hida limited express train. On arrival in Takayama in the early afternoon, You check in to our hotel.

You will receive local Express bus tickets to go to Shirakawago before heading to Kanazawa.
Have a self-guided tour in Shirakawago, a village registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1995. Shirakawago is a picturesque Japanese mountain settlement in what was once considered a wild and unexplored region. The village contains 114 thatched roofed gassho style houses. They are called gassho style houses because the steep triangular roof uniquely designed to accommodate the heavy snowfall in the area, resembles “gassho” (hands meeting in prayer).
You will spend the day touring around beautiful Kanazawa with your guide. Your first stop is Kenrokuen garden, a large Japanese landscape garden where you will experience a traditional tea ceremony.
Next you will visit Kanazawa castle. After lunch you will walk to Nagamachi district, where samurais and their families used to reside. You will enter and visit Nomura house.
Have a leisurely morning before you take the train to Kaga Onsen for a day of leisure and relaxation Japanese style.
You will have a Japanese kaiseki style dinner tonight.
After another soak in the hotspring this morning, you leave Kaga for Kyoto, your last stop on the tour.
On arrival, meet your guide and go visit Fushimi Inari shrine famous for its thousands of Torii gates. Next is Kiyomizu Dera, one of the most celebrated temples in Japan. Not to be missed this afternoon is a stop at Maruyama park, one of the main spots for cherry blossom viewing in Kyoto. Last stop of the day is the geisha district of Gion.
Today meet your guide and head to the northwest part of the city to visit Kinkaku-ji, the golden pavillion and Ryoan-ji zen temple known for its rock garden.
Next is Arashiyama, where you will first have lunch before visiting the picturesque bamboo groves. Last stop is beautiful Tenryu-ji temple before you go back to the hotel by train.
Free day at leisure. We recommend you head to Nara as a day trip.

Yes, Cherry Blossom season is a time when all the Japanese go out and enjoy this very special time of the year. While it will be crowded at some of the sites, we try to avoid the peak hours. Even if it gets crowded, it will be a good opportunity to mingle with the locals.

We accept credit card (Visa and Mastercard) or e-transfer/direct deposit to our bank account. We require a deposit of $500 to secure your spot on the tour and final payment is due 70 days prior to the start of the tour. You can refer to our terms and conditions page.
